We are seeking experienced Construction Laborers to join our team.
As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects and develop your skills in the industry.
Responsibilities:
Operate hand and power tools of all types.
Work with materials such as steel, cement, wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall and others.
Clean and prepare job sites.
Salvage useful materials during demolitions.
Dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, backfill excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble, debris and waste materials.
Load, unload or identify building materials, tools and/or equipment.
Position, join, align, or seal structural components.
Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces.
Mix, pour, spread or smooth & finish concrete.
Grind, scrape, sand, polish and/or paint surfaces.
Lubricate, clean or make minor repairs to machinery, equipment or tools.
Assist other craft workers, as needed.
May perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Physical endurance and ability to successfully perform physical activities, including some heavy lifting.
Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Demonstrated ability to accept and follow instructions from others.
Willingness and ability to work cooperatively with others.
Previous experience working with tools and practical knowledge of the use of various hand and power tools.
Understanding of how to properly conduct oneself on a client's property.
Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
Must be able to stand, squat, and climb ladders and scaffolding.
Must be available to work a five day work week.
Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors, as needed.
