The Inventory Manager oversees inventory on a day-to-day basis, as well as the weekly and monthly inventory counts and waste disposal requirements.
The Inventory Manager will perform the comprehensive Role and Responsibilities The Inventory Manager reports directly to the Financial Controller and is responsible for ensuring that all business operations have adequate materials to achieve their objectives.
The Inventory Manager oversees inventory on a day-to-day basis, as well as the weekly and monthly inventory counts and waste disposal requirements.
The Inventory Manager will perform the comprehensive annual inventory, in conjunction with the executive management team.
Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
Implementing and evaluating inventory controls to track and account for all facilities' inventory and ensure optimization of procedures Implement procedures and notification policies for proper disposal Coordinating with the FP&A for weekly dispensary order fulfillment needs and executing fulfillment of these orders with the Production Department Generating shipping manifests for dispensary orders Ensuring product stock is adequate for direct customer demand and all distribution channels Using software to monitor and maintain records, including operating procedures, inventory records, audit records, storage records, delivery records, and transfer records Maintaining documents with each day's beginning balance, acquisitions, sales, disposal and ending inventory Reviewing recorded daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory Analyzing data to anticipate future needs Reviewing levels of business supplies and raw materials with Inventory Specialists to identify shortages Evaluating suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships Placing orders to replenish stock, avoiding excess surplus or insufficiencies Proper storage, labeling, tracking and reporting of inventory.
Collaborating with Inventory Specialists and other staff to ensure business goals are met Reporting to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.
Qualifications and Education Must be 21 years old Prior dispensary experience is REQUIRED BS/BA in business administration, logistics or relevant field, or relevant qualifications (e.
g.
, CPIM) preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, Proven experience as Inventory Manager or similar position Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.
g.
, ERP) Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Strong interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills Analytical with strong math skills Exceptional planning and organizational abilities Physical and Environmental Requirements Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday Ability to stand for extended periods of time; Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft.
extension); Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:
General office environment Extended computer usage Extended phone usage including teleconferences Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.
